Tres Chic's 3rd Annual Holiday Party.....

It's that time of year once again. As we prepare for the holiday season, The Tres Chic Foundation is pleased to announce our Third Annual Children's Holiday Party. Poised on our mission of community service we strive to give back to our beloved community of Bedford Stuyvesant.

This event attracts nearly 200 Bedford Stuyvesant residents each year. The event include's an Arts & Crafts workshop, Storytime, Games, Food, Refreshments, Contest, Prizes and a special suprise visit from Santa.

In Sad News......

On behalf of Tres Chic, I am saddened to announce the passing of Tohma Faulkner, "Friend" of the Tres Chic Family.

Tohma Faulkner made her transition on Saturday September 6, 2008. The Tres Chic Family would like to extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to her family and friends at this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of meeting Tohma in 2006 when Tres Chic Boutique was in it's infancy stages. Tohma quickly stopped in the boutique, introduced herself and was eager to learn who I was and what were my intentions in her beloved community of Bedford Stuyvesant. I must admit our first meeting would have never led me to believe she would be one of my biggest supporters and ultimately serve as my mentor and friend.

The World has lost a great voice, Delta Sigma Theta Sororority, Inc. has lost a devoted soror, The Bedford Stuyvesant Community has lost one of it's greatest heroes.

Shopping Soiree - These will be a series of shopping parties held in various venues throughout Brooklyn. Who We Are: Tres Chic Image Consulting (TCIM) is a New York based personal styling and shopping company. TCIM strives to give you a complete, improved and original look from head to toe in accordance with your own personality and lifestyle.

Getting Started

We schedule a one hour image consultation to evaluate your current style. I will make wardrobe and beauty recommendations, tailoring a plan just for you. To prepare for your personal transformation, you will be provided with an in-depth questionnaire to complete. Fee: $55
If necessary, we will schedule an appointment to review your wardrobe. For maximum efficiency, you will be given instructions on how to organize your closets beforehand.
While reviewing your wardrobe, we will weed out the unnecessary and unflattering items. Using tricks of the trade, I will create new outfits with your existing clothing and accessories that we will photograph.
I make a list of essential items you need to pull your wardrobe together and bring your image up-to-date.
If shopping services are required, I will take you on a shopping trip to stores that are tailored just for you. Teaching you how to shop for yourself by showing you what styles, colors, fabrics, cuts and brands work best for you.
I will create a follow-up Internet file that includes hairstyle links, clothing photos and resources to complete the process.

Fees:

Image consultation: $55/hr (2 hour minimun)
Image consultation, closet and wardrobe review, at your home: $100/hr (2-3hour minimum)
Personal shopping service is fee based, no commission: $150/hr (3 hour minimum)

Specialty gift packages include one-on-one style consultations, personal shopping excursions designed around each client’s tastes, needs, and budget, as well as ongoing personalized trend reports that highlight new designers and emerging trends. This ‘Trend of the Month’ service gives edited advice on fashion, acting as a personal supplement to any major fashion publication.

2008 has been yet another phenomenal year for The Tres Chic Foundation. With the huge success of Operation Glam Chic we are in our infancy stages of planning our 2nd Annual Prom Dress Give-Away Event.

Tres Chic Foundation History

The Tres Chic Foundation was founded in December 2006 by Tres Chic proprietor Kishana Holland. As a Bedford Stuyvesant native Kishana recognized a need for community and social awareness in her community. As an extension of her business she developed plans and initiatives to give back to a place she holds dear. The ultimate goal of the foundation is to promote collective initiatives within the community with the assistance of entrepreneurs and business leaders like herself.
